Director, US Pricing and Contracting Insights - Cross-portfolio

Gilead Sciences seeks a Director of US Pricing and Contracting Insights to serve as subject matter expert for US pricing and market access strategy. This cross-functional role involves leading pricing workstreams, managing portfolio WAC adjustments, and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership across early-stage through in-line assets.

Responsibilities

Lead US market access assumptions and pricing inputs for Global Pricing Models across early, mid-stage, and business development opportunities
Maintain pricing research repository and support transition of global workstreams to US teams during late-stage pipeline and launch readiness phases
Act as subject matter expert on IRA and PDAB pricing impacts; inform access strategies and WAC adjustment recommendations
Oversee cross-portfolio WAC pricing updates and competitive benchmarking via third-party vendors; drive recommendations through governance approval
Develop and maintain pricing standard operating procedures for internal governance, SOX compliance, and consistency across key systems

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years
Deep expertise in US pharmaceutical pricing, contracting, and market access strategy
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of IRA, PDAB, and current US pricing trends and methodologies
Proficiency in pricing models, competitive benchmarking, and payer coverage analysis
Experience managing external consulting resources and governance processes
