Marketing Manager

Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Hybrid(4days onsite, 1 day remote), Amherst, New York
Mortgage servicing or mortgage industry experience
Financial services/consumer lending background
Strong written communications and copywriting
Project management skills
Stakeholder management and influence
Email marketing experience
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Financial Domain, preferably Consumer Lending
Previous end to end Campaign Execution, primarily Email Campaigns
Project Management EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors and 4 years experience managing marketing campaigns in a client or agency environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum requirement:
Consumer lending and/or financial services experience
Core Skills
Strong written communication and copywriting skills
Project management experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfort working cross-functionally
Ability to communicate professionally with business stakeholders
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills The team currently has a significant marketing backlog due to resource constraints.
Key objectives include:
1. Relaunch Homeowner Newsletter
Reactivate a newsletter program that was paused due to limited resources.
2. Improve Onboarding Communications
Enhance communications for new mortgage-servicing customers.
3. Website Enhancements
Review servicing-related web content.
Recommend updates and new informational content.
4. Increase Marketing Capacity
Help demonstrate business value and workload demand.
Support the business case for adding permanent headcount. Client is less focused on a specific number of years of experience and more focused on:
Executive presence
Professionalism
Strategic thinking
Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently
Confidence in influencing stakeholders
Ability to say "no" when appropriate
Lending and financial services knowledge
