Immediate opening for a  Shipping Clerk in  Brea, CA who possesses:

• 1+ year of experience in a related shipping, receiving, or warehouse position
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify shipments, maintain records, manage shipping paperwork, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and crouch as needed

FULL DESCRIPTION:   We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to manage outgoing shipments and support accurate, efficient processing, packaging, and shipping of PCBA products in a manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire role is responsible for preparing domestic and international shipments, coordinating with carriers, verifying shipping documentation, supporting inventory control for semi-finished and finished goods, and ensuring customer shipping requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience, strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work with ERP, carrier, and shipping documentation systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing outgoing shipments for PCBA products
• Processing, packaging, and preparing products for shipment accurately and efficiently
• Reviewing customer requirements, routing guides, and shipping instructions
• Ensuring shipments meet customer specifications and delivery requirements
• Processing and coordinating domestic and international shipments
• Using UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and related shipping systems
• Verifying the accuracy of shipping notices, bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and other shipping documentation
• Coordinating with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
• Tracking shipments and helping resolve shipping-related issues
• Utilizing ERP and reporting systems to verify inventory transactions
• Pulling product from production and ensuring shipments are processed against the correct customer orders
• Maintaining accurate shipping, inventory, and transaction records
• Supporting inventory control of semi-finished and finished goods
• Assisting with shipping discrepancies and process improvements
• Supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Communicating effectively with customers, carriers, and cross-functional teams
• Maintaining an organized shipping area
• Performing other duties as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience required
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Electronics manufacturing, EMS, or PCBA experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, carrier systems, freight coordination, and customer-specific shipping requirements preferred
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, or related shipping systems preferred
• ERP system experience preferred
• Microsoft Office experience required
• Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe experience preferred
• Basic math skills required
• Logistics or scheduling experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage shipping deadlines
• Ability to work onsite in Brea, CA
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production areas as needed
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds as needed
• Ability to package, label, verify, and prepare products for shipment
• Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, packaging, labeling, filing, scanning, and handling shipping documentation
• Ability to review shipping notices, bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, customer requirements, inventory records, ERP transactions, and computer screens for extended periods
• Ability to work with shipping materials, finished goods, semi-finished goods, PCBA products, carrier systems, and warehouse equipment as needed
• Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
• Ability to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping environment while following applicable safety procedures
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment as needed

Salary Range: $19 to $21/hour
