Human Resources Assistant

A reputable client of ours located in Georgetown, Kentucky is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team.  This position is responsible for supporting the recruitment and onboarding process.  This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package. 

salary: $50,000 - $57,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the talent pipeline by coordinating job vacancy advertisements, managing internal and external posting notifications, and reviewing applicant credentials.

• Coordinate comprehensive reference checks and interface with external background check vendors to verify candidate eligibility and support hiring decisions.

• Lead the onboarding experience for new hires, including the preparation of secure physical/digital credentials, facility passes, and workspace badging.

• Guide incoming personnel through the benefits selection process, managing full enrollment workflows for all qualifying health and wellness programs.

• Serve as a dedicated internal customer service resource, answering daily team member questions regarding payroll, performance evaluations, salaries, and company guidelines.

• Act as an objective point of contact for resolving staff grievances, investigating sensitive workplace concerns or policy violations, and managing disciplinary workflows with total discretion.

• Interpret and explain company handbooks, organizational procedures, and structural updates to both active employees and prospective job candidates.

• Partner with the leadership team to brainstorm, plan, and execute cross-departmental HR projects, culture initiatives, and company-wide events.

• Track and log critical workplace data metrics including personal contact updates, weekly compensation updates, attendance patterns, performance reports, and exit data.
