Automotive Business Office Manager

High Desert Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Business Office Manager to lead daily dealership accounting operations and supervise the Business Office staff. This position works closely with the Controller and department managers to maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and resolve outstanding items. Automotive dealership accounting experience is required. Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and support Business Office staff. Post new and used vehicle contracts, process trade payoffs, and post and reconcile finance reserves. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, deposits, and transaction posting. Review deal documentation and resolve posting discrepancies, funding delays, and outstanding contracts. Monitor vehicle inventory, floorplan schedules, payoffs, and DMV/title processing. Reconcile accounting schedules, investigate aged balances, and support month-end closing and financial reporting. Coordinate payroll information and timekeeping review with designated payroll staff. Maintain confidential, audit-ready records, follow financial approval procedures, and escalated unresolved issues to the Controller.
