Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Job Responsibilities Prepares invoices for students, staff, companies and other agenciesfor accounts receivable. Verifies accounting documents forinvoices. Processes on demand invoices for students. Confers withcompanies and other agency financial officials about procedures andstudent records. Assists director in implementing proceduralchanges from external companies and agencies. Reviews and verifiesfinancial aid awards on students' accounts and post appropriaterefunds. Communicate with financial aid office on adjustments.Reviews student accounts for Payment Plan. SC Department of Revenue(for GEAR debt set-off program), processes related paperwork,maintains accurate records of the same and process monthly paymentsto student accounts. Complete adjustments on student accounts forfees, such as Slingshot and fines. Processes bad-debt write-off toinclude the bad debt analysis. Perform cashier duties. Responsiblefor receiving and posting payments on student and company accounts.Able to answer inquiries concerning charges/payments on accountsthrough in-person, email and phone. Reconcile daily activity andcomplete bank deposit. Performs other duties as required toinclude, scan and index of invoices. Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and experience in entry-level accounting orbookkeeping.
