Community Manager

Company Overview Asset Living is a third‑party property management firm founded in 1986, serving communities across multifamily, single‑family rentals, affordable housing, build‑to‑rent, active adult, and student housing. Community Manager The Community Manager oversees all operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager, managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Personnel management: hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; create schedules; manage performance. Financial management: develop budgets, oversee collections, reconcile vendor invoices, ensure accurate financial reporting. Strategic leasing management: create marketing plans, oversee leasing procedures, respond to resident complaints, and implement retention programs. Administrative & maintenance management: ensure accurate reporting, lead emergency response, monitor service request turnaround, maintain property appearance, manage resources and construction activities. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or four years in the housing industry, or 1–2 years related experience. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, move about, use tools and equipment up to 25 lb, operate vehicles or golf carts, work in various environmental conditions, and respond to emergencies. License and Equipment Reliable transportation for on‑call emergency duties. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $85,000–$90,000 per year.
