Ledcor Highways is hiring Heavy Equipment Technicians to ensure safety on Alberta roads. In this position, you will perform critical repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment including plows and loaders. The role is open in various Alberta locations such as Valleyview and Stony Plain. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, your responsibilities will include both shop maintenance and field service to uphold safety standards on public highways. You'll engage in necessary inspections and follow all safety policies while documenting your work carefully. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair plows, loaders, and support gear Perform inspections on trucks and trailers (CVIP) Respond to service calls in the field Adhere to safety protocols and inspection procedures Document maintenance activities comprehensively Requirements Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician or Apprentice status Familiarity with highway maintenance equipment is beneficial CVIP certification preferred Valid Driver’s License with acceptable abstract Pre‑employment drug and alcohol test required #J-18808-Ljbffr Ledcor
