At MECO, we are making a difference, and you will too!We are seeking a Welder for our Mandeville, LA facility.About the Role:As a Welder at our manufacturing facility in Louisiana, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. You will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and performing quality control checks. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our production processes, and ultimately contribute to the success of our company. We have openings on our first and second shifts.First Shift: Monday-Friday 5am-1pmMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent5 years of experience in welding and fabricationAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsKnowledge of welding techniques and equipmentStrong attention to detail and qualityPreferred Qualifications:Certification in weldingExperience with TIG weldingExperience with welding stainless steel and other alloysResponsibilities:Performing welding and fabrication of metal components according to blueprints and schematicsOperating and maintaining welding equipment and toolsPerforming quality control checks to ensure products meet specificationsCollaborating with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solveMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentSkills:As a Welder, you will utilize your expertise in welding and fabrication techniques to produce high-quality metal components. You will need to have a strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Additionally, you will collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
