Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate RN care for oncology patients following the established plan of care.
- Administer chemotherapy and other IV medications; monitor for infusion reactions and adverse events; follow safety protocols for chemotherapy handling.
- Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, labs, and symptoms; document changes and respond promptly to deterioration.
- Manage IV access and infusion equipment; ensure accurate medication administration and adherence to policies.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, symptom management, and when to seek care; coordinate with the broader care team for symptom relief and supportive care.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals to optimize treatment, discharge planning, and care transitions; maintain thorough, compliant charting.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of recent oncology experience
- AHA BLS certification
- NIH Certification
- Chemo Certification with the ability to administer chemotherapy
- Ability to work in a hospital oncology setting; available for a 4x10-hour day shift pattern
