Caregiver/Home Health AideRight at Home Northampton County, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire experienced Caregivers and Home Health Aids to join our team to provide in-home care for seniors. We have immediate part-time positions available as well as full time hours. During these trying times you can make a difference in our seniors lives by helping them stay safe in the comfort of their homes.Hiring Immediately for the Wind Gap and Bangor Areas! 3p-10p shifts during the week 12 hour shifts on weekends Available IMMEDIATELY!Here's Why Caregivers Like Working for Us:Flexible schedulingPay increases available through our Personal Advancement ProgramBonuses for referralsCaregiver Recognition & Rewards ProgramNamed Employer of Choice by Home Care PulseResponsibilities and Duties: Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)Ambulation/TransfersEatingDressing/ShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointments.Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroomPerforms patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):Medication remindersAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercisesMeasuring and preparing special dietsUnderstanding dementia careIncontinence careQualifications and Skills:High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.At least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobileCompensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hourRight at Home's mission is simple...to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
