Research Associate

Our client, a leader in the biotechnology and regulatory sciences industry, is seeking a Research Associate to join their team. As a Research Associate, you will be part of the Regulatory Sciences department supporting laboratory and regulatory study efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Research Associate

Location: Johnston, IA

Pay Range: $25 hour 

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Perform molecular analysis support for regulatory biosafety studies, including DNA extraction, sample weighing, and PCR setup
• Document experimental protocols, methods, and results in compliance with government regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate record management practices following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Support regulatory studies by coordinating research efforts and preparing study records
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PCR technologies

• Ability to follow detailed laboratory procedures and protocols
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and inventory
• Willingness to support team efforts and adapt to evolving project needs
• Basic understanding of molecular biology techniques and laboratory equipment
• Open to learning and applying new methods in a regulated environment
