Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in the field. The role requires a high school diploma and graduation from an AMA-approved school for radiologic technology. Advanced training in CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiography is necessary. The selected candidates must be licensed as radiologic technologists in Client. They must also have advanced certification as an MRI technologist and be current with the ARRT. Certified personnel must be authorized by Client for administering contrast injections as required by the job duties. CT technologists utilize CT scanners to create cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for medical diagnostics. The role involves accurately interpreting physician instructions, administering contrast materials, and effectively operating CT scanning equipment. CT technologists must position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images. Physical fitness is important as maneuvering equipment and assisting patients may present challenges. Adherence to safety procedures is crucial due to radiation exposure during CT scans.
