We close at 12:30pm every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day — giving our team more time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer sunshine!Northeast Family Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team!Part Time hours Fee For Service Position The RBT will be responsible for the implementation of clients' behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Registered Behavior Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Registered Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client's family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.Qualifications:Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) - REQUIREDHave a minimum of 5 years of experience- REQUIRED (Working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families, and experience working with adolescents requiring comprehensive level care)Availability to work early afternoon hours (e.g.1:30-4:00) - REQUIREDAbility to travel to areas of Boston in the South Boston/Seaport DistrictValid driver's license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicleStrong interpersonal and collaborative skillsExperience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferredEffective written and verbal communication skillsA compassionate approach to careApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this timeAccess to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required.Benefits:Summer Fun Fridays!
