Job Description
East Side Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician. This is can be either full time or part time. We are looking for someone is is a team player, loves animals and is excited to come to work. The skills we are looking for our candidates to possess are as follows:
- Performing diagnostic tests and x-rays
- Preparing animals and instruments for surgery
- Willing to learn how to administering medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Providing emergency first aid or general nursing care
- Observing and reporting on the behavior and condition of animals
- Restraining animals for examination or treatment
- Collecting and recording animal case histories
- Educating animal owners on home care
- Answer phones and direct clients to the correct department
Full time employee are eligible for 401K, Dental and Medical insurance after probationary period. Pay depends on experience.
