What You’ll Do

• Oversee all labor and delivery processes, including performing cesarean sections
• Manage high-risk obstetrics cases, including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and fetal anomalies
• Conduct rounds on OB patients, providing ongoing care
• Perform gynecological surgeries from ED consults, including Pap smears, IUD insertions/removals, and ultrasound
• Collaborate with CNMs, family physicians, OB-GYN residents, and medical students
• Support a regional trauma and transfer center, managing emergency cases
• Provide postpartum care and family planning counseling

What You Need

• Medical license recognized by IMLC
• Board Certified or eligible (within 2 years)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• DEA registration
• 1-3 years of relevant obstetric experience preferred
• Skilled in high-risk obstetrics, emergency obstetric procedures, and gynecological surgeries
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
