What You’ll Do

• Oversee all labor and deliveries, including performing cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries
• Conduct daily rounds on obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Manage GYN emergencies and consults during shifts
• Support high-risk obstetric cases such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including CNMs, OB/GYN residents, and medical students
• Participate in postpartum care and family planning counseling
• Provide emergency gynecological procedures like ultrasounds, IUD insertions/removals, and Pap smears

What You Need

• Board Certified or eligible (within 2 years) in OB-GYN
• Active WI medical license or IMLC accepted
• 1-3 years of obstetric and gynecologic experience preferred
• Strong skills in high-risk obstetrics, cesarean deliveries, and gynecologic procedures
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills

About the Assignment
This role is based at a regional trauma and transfer center in Madison, Wisconsin, supporting high-volume obstetric and gynecological services in a collegial, team-oriented environment. The facility handles approximately 1,900 deliveries annually, providing comprehensive care with onsite NICU, MFM specialists, and 24/7 consultative support. The OB service includes managing high-risk pregnancies, emergency deliveries, and surgical procedures, with dedicated support from a team of physicians, CNMs, and nursing staff.
