Senior Backend DeveloperAn opportunity is available to join a team working on a platform that manages renewable natural gas (RNG) trading, carbon credit calculations, and regulatory compliance for LCFS (Low Carbon Fuel Standard) and RFS (Renewable Fuel Standard) programs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain enterprise-scale .NET applications using ASP.NET Core 9.0 and C#.Design and implement RESTful APIs for biogas trading, inventory management, and regulatory reporting.Build business logic for RINS credit calculations, LCFS compliance, and carbon credit trading.Work with PostgreSQL databases and Entity Framework Core for data persistence.Implement authentication and authorization using Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Platform.Develop email workflow systems and automated reporting for regulatory compliance.Create scheduled background jobs using Quartz.NET for data processing and calculations.Integrate with Microsoft Graph API for SharePoint document management via Azure MS Graph.Build real-time features using SignalR for live trading updates.Implement data validation using FluentValidation.Work with Docker and OpenShift for containerized deployments.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience with .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core).Experience with Entity Framework Core and PostgreSQL.Proficiency in RESTful API design and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.Experience with authentication systems (OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD).Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes/OpenShift.Experience with background job processing and scheduled tasks.Understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture.Experience with unit testing (xUnit, FluentAssertions) and integration testing.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (ADO).Preferred QualificationsExperience in energy trading or financial systems.Knowledge of environmental compliance and carbon credit markets.Familiarity with LCFS, RFS, or RINS regulatory frameworks.Experience with Azure cloud services.Knowledge of data processing and complex calculations.Experience with Testcontainers for integration testing.Business Domain KnowledgeUnderstanding of biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) markets.Knowledge of carbon credit trading and environmental attribute tracking.Familiarity with petroleum industry regulations and fuel pathway reporting.Experience with inventory management and supply chain tracking.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
