Job Overview:The Senior Principal Marine Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in both project execution and commercial bidding activities by providing expert support and leadership. The position involves overseeing pipeline welding qualification strategies, material selection and engineering, front end procurement activities, ensuring execution readiness, and supporting fabrication, marine, and offshore operations. Essential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering preferably metallurgy or mechanical, or related field Professional certification such as EWE/IWE, CEng, PE, or equivalent (preferred) Minimum 20+ years of experience in offshore and/or onshore pipeline production Strong knowledge of procedures, qualification processes, and inspection standards Solid understanding of QHSE requirements related to a production environmentProven experience in project planning, execution, and compliance management Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements#LI-CA1Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Supporting tendering, estimating, and bid evaluationsEnsuring compliance with codes, standards, and certifying authority requirementsDriving innovation in production processes, automation, and materials Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholdersProvide leadership and technical support to operations and project management teamsReview, approve, and manage procedures in coordination with clients and certifying authoritiesSelect materials, participate in vendor audits and selection, support project execution until completionSupport tendering activities, including cost estimation, productivity analysis, and technical reviewsProvide execution support across fabrication, marine, and offshore phases, including performance monitoring and quality assuranceLead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production and material issuesDrive development and implementation of mechanized/automated production and participate in R&D initiativesManage training programs, competency development, and mentoring of marine personnelEnsure compliance with QHSES requirements and promote safe working practicesFull timePosting Date: 2026-06-05
