Job Overview Title: Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $2,006 per week Shift: Night 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 7/20/2026 Responsibilities Provide critical care nursing for adult ICU patients, including ventilated patients Insert and manage central lines, arterial lines, and external ventricular drains (EVDs) Perform neuro post‑operative care and monitor intracranial pressure (ICP) Provide continuous IV sedation and titrate vasopressor drips Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias Manage post‑formed fibrinolytic therapy (post‑TPA) and post‑thrombectomy care Administer and manage continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and other neuro‑specific interventions Assist with lumbar drain management Chart using Cerner and participate in interdisciplinary rounds Float to other ICU, PCU, ED, or PACU units as required; patient‑to‑nurse ratio 1:2 on nights Qualifications Minimum 1.5 years ICU/critical care RN experience Certification: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Flu vaccine required; COVID vaccine optional but vaccination numbers must be reported Must have neuro ICU experience with EVD, CRRT, ICP monitoring, and post‑neurosurgical care Non‑local candidates only; no candidates within 100 mi of Albuquerque Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts, 3 days per week Submit travel compliance documentation 10 days prior to start Drug screen within 30 days of start Patient Population Adult neuro ICU patients including traumatic brain injury (TBI), subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), subdural hematoma (SDH), tumor resections, status epilepticus, and other neurologic disorders #J-18808-Ljbffr TravelNurseSource
