TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Pending NM License accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience Description: ICU nights position available. First-time travelers are welcome. 1+ years of experience is required. Option for 36 or 48 hours per week is available. Ratios of 1:2 for patient care. Floating may be required to other units. Weekends are required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience with 2 patients is necessary. Management of arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilated patients is required. Knowledge of blood product administration, central line care, and continuous IV sedation is essential. Experience with neuro intensive care and procedural sedation is a plus. Additional management skills for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction are necessary. Isolation precautions and infection prevention practices must be followed. Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias is essential. Phlebotomy and PICC line management are required skills. Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips is necessary. Suctioning and management of high flow nasal cannula is expected. All candidates must be prepared to float to similar units as needed based on facility needs.
