Business Data Analyst IIILocation: 100% Remote Schedule: 6+ Months contractNote - Might need to travel to Fort Belvoir, VA occasionally but not frequent - Travel expenses coveredThe Business Data Analyst should understand DoD business enterprise architecture, application ownership, user population, and access-request processes. DLA experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.DoD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) experience is important.DLA experience is a significant advantage because it provides familiarity with: DLA environment/Acronyms/Existing processes/Application ownership/User populations/Access-request processesCurrent/recent DLA experience is particularly valuable.Ideal candidate understands: Who owns an application./How users are populated /How users request access/General application/access workflows.Approximately 4–7 years of experience.Minimum Requirements:Must have expert experience in working with the DOD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA).Seven (7) years of relevant experienceMust have experience with the following programs: MS Suite, Word, Excel, Access, Project management, Power PointRelevant experience with the current DLA Enterprise Architecture solution (as of Dec 2021, the solution is MEGA HOPEX). Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments of applications currently supported within the IDAM environmentCollaborate with application owners to inventory and evaluate existing authentication structures.Define and implement appropriate identity integration patterns.Support workflow integration and migration activities.Develop specifications, checklists, and migration approaches for various application categories.Support SAML-based integrations and migration efforts into OktaConfigure and manage attributes, roles, and group structuresProvide hands-on engineering support throughout implementation and transition activitiesContribute to strategic architecture and design decisions for the future environmentMigration of approximately 400 applications currently managed within the legacy IDAM platformTransition from DLA systems to DISA systemsSAML authentication and Okta integrationIdentity governance, access management, and application onboardingHands-on engineering and implementation focus.
