Program SupervisorThe Center for Human Development - CHD, is currently seeking an experienced Program Supervisor to join our team in the Springfield, MA and surrounding towns. The Residential Supervisor works within the Agency's team model, establishing open communication, support and accountability among co-workers. Our team works in a supportive residential environment for developmentally disabled adults living in a community-based group home.Responsibilities:Supervises all full or part-time staff to ensure appropriate service deliverySupporting clients' activities of daily livingAdministering medications as neededAdvocating for individuals' within various community settingsProviding opportunities to optimize their independenceDevelop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus.Interacts with clients in order to assess needs, provide information, discuss problems, set limits, and encourage growth and development while monitoring safetyUnderstands, follows/implements all client ISP's and documents progressProvides thorough orientation of all new staffRequirements:Minimum two years' experience with the population as well supervisory experience.Must have current MAP certification, CPR and First Aid.Must have excellent oral and written communication and must be proficient in use of computers.Bachelor's Degree in related field required.Reliable automobile and valid driver's license required.Flexibility needed to work one weekend day, including on call.Take advantage of a competitive salary of $52,000 annually, as well as a phenomenal benefit package that includes Dental, Health and Life insurance.
