Associate Manufacturing - Nights In this vital role you will be located at one of Amgen’s two manufacturing facilities in Rhode Island. Eligible candidates will join either the AR5 production team, focused on high‑volume production, or the AR5 start‑up team, focused on operational readiness. The onboarding period lasts 2–6 weeks, during which you will work 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on an administrative schedule (Monday–Friday). Following onboarding you will join a 12‑hour shift team (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) with a two‑week rotation covering 7 days a week. The rotating shift includes an added 15% shift differential and premium pay for Sundays worked. Key Responsibilities Perform general manufacturing operations under supervision. Execute tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor critical processes, conduct routine validation protocols, and draft or revise documents such as Manufacturing Procedures, SOPs, and technical reports. Perform basic troubleshooting and assist in reviewing documentation for assigned functions. Participate in cross‑functional teams and represent the manufacturing team. Own deviations/CAPA operations. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements related to routine functions. What We Expect Of You We seek a dedicated professional who is a great teammate with the following qualifications. Basic Qualifications High school/GED with 2 years manufacturing or operations experience **or** Associate’s degree with 6 months manufacturing or operations experience **or** Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering Knowledge of large‑scale biotechnology operations (purification, cell culture, aseptic processing, etc.) Knowledge of single‑use systems Regulatory (CFR) knowledge Mechanical ability and expertise Basic statistical and mathematical skills GMP knowledge application Understanding of analytical methods for the manufacturing area Technical writing capability Project management and presentation skills Basic chemistry, biology, and physical principles application Basic troubleshooting skills on production equipment Experience with Delta V Experience with lab equipment/testing What You Can Expect Of Us Amgen supports your professional and personal growth through competitive benefits, a collaborative culture, and career development opportunities.
