Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What You’ll Need:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience in cross-categorical or resource teaching preferred
• Understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Ability to tailor instruction to diverse learning profiles and target individualized goals
• Strong collaborative spirit for working with aides, support staff, and related service providers
• Commitment to employing evidence-based behavioral, sensory, and communication supports

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lessons aligned with grade-level standards and each student’s IEP
• Utilize structured teaching and visual support strategies to enhance learning
• Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions as needed
• Foster a classroom culture that encourages independence, respect, and self-advocacy
• Collaborate daily with program aides, support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support for students
• Use ongoing data collection and progress monitoring to adapt instruction and interventions
