We are seeking experienced Pre-operative, Circulating and Recovery room Registered Nurses for PRN shifts to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to patients in the perioperative setting
• Establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or status
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and post-op care
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

• Current GA nursing license
• BLS/ACLS/PALS
• Previous perioperative nursing experience with adult and pediatric patients
• Familiarity with medical equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients and parents
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
