Press Operators

Job Details

IQ Resource Group in Manitowoc is currently recruiting candidates for press operator positions. Qualified candidates will need to have a positive attitude, strong work history, and a willingness to learn. No experience is required but previous experience and mechanical aptitude are helpful.


Hours:

• 1st Shift: 7am to 3pm; Monday through Friday
• 2nd Shift; 3pm to 11pm; Monday through Friday
• 3rd shift; 11pm to 7am, Sunday through Thursday

Wage:

• $17.00 to $20.00/hr

Essential Duties:

• Set up and operate punch press machines according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Adjust machine settings, including speed, pressure, and feed rate, to ensure precision and quality.
• Load and unload materials into the machine safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to prevent downtime.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and report any hazards or malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete the required documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong attendance and reliability
• Basic math skills, including taking measurements
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Desire to work in a team environment
