Medical Director, Clinical Development

Role: Medical Director leading Prime Medicine’s gene therapy programs from preclinical to clinical stages, focusing on in-human proof-of-concept studies. Responsibilities develop and execute clinical trial strategies across multiple therapeutic areas author protocols for phase I-IV trials serve as medical monitor ensuring patient safety analyze trial data Act as a representative in interactions with investigators, regulators, and key opinion leaders organize scientific advisory boards collaborate on translational biomarker programs Requirements M.D. or equivalent (preferably M.D.-PhD) 3+ years industry or academic experience overseeing or conducting clinical trials, with strong expertise in gene therapy, genetics, and immunology Oncology, hematology, immunology, or pulmonology/hepatology specialization is preferred but not required Proficiency with GCP, statistical tools, and scientific communication essential HighValue gene therapy regulatory engagement early to late-phase clinical trials translational research cross-functional collaboration WorkSetup travel up to 25%, based in the U.S. #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
