Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Critical Care / CVICU – Texas

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Full Time

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular ICU setting with high-acuity post-operative cardiothoracic patients
• Advanced technology including IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Arctic Sun, TABLO XT/CRRT
• Complex critical care including fresh post-operative CABG recovery directly from OR
• Epic EMR system (preferred experience)
• Comprehensive orientation with designated preceptor and competency validation
• Full-time position with opportunities for professional development

Requirements:

• Active RN License in Texas or Compact State
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• One year of Critical Care experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience with CABGs, post cardiothoracic surgery recovery, and high-acuity patients with multiple comorbidities and drip management highly valued
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac support devices and continuous renal replacement therapy preferred
