Job Responsibilities

• Tailor Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapeutic approaches to help them reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to strengthen patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate Within Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure holistic and well-rounded care for patients.
• Educate Patients & Caregivers: Offer guidance to patients and their families on therapy methods to facilitate ongoing progress at home.
• Track & Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients on their paths to recovery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications to expand expertise.

Licenses

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
