OSHA Associate

Overview Jackson Lewis P.C. has been focused on employment and labor law since 1958, with over 1,000 attorneys nationwide. We help employers develop proactive strategies, strong policies, and business‑oriented solutions to build high‑functioning, engaging workforces. Responsibilities Support, collaborate, and guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety and health compliance requirements (OSHA federal and state). Manage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues and create programmatic opportunities to address risk, including training, policies, and processes. Develop relationships with regulatory agencies, defend our practices within appropriate boundaries, and work to influence policy development. Handle all aspects of litigation related to workplace safety and related discrimination matters per OSHA regulations. Represent clients in negotiations and mediations. Provide crisis management to clients dealing with workplace safety and health matters. Qualifications J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school, with exceptional academic credentials. 3+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience required. All exceptional candidates with relevant experience will be considered; class action or public sector experience a plus. Admitted to practice law in the State Bar of the primary office. Attention to detail and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational, time‑management, and project‑management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment. Salary & Benefits Salary ranges by location: Chicago: $200,000 – $235,000 Cleveland: $165,000 – $195,000 Indianapolis: $153,000 – $182,500 Madison: $143,000 – $172,500 Minneapolis: $165,000 – $195,000 Eligible for annual bonuses.
