Assistant Director of Nursing ServicesWorcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring an RN Assistant Director of Nursing Services!Worcester Rehab is a 146-bed skilled nursing facility located at 119 Providence Street. It serves a large population of residents with substance use disorders. This is a salaried role with weekly pay. $50 to $55 an hour with weekly pay.As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.Experience & Education:Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university. B.S.N. preferred.CPR certified.Must have as a minimum, one (1) year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.Duties & Responsibilities:Assist the DNS with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operations of the nursing department, according to state, federal, local, and corporate standards and regulations, policy and procedure, and scope of practiceMeets the clinical needs of all residentsAssists with maintaining, reviewing, and has input to the development of all clinical policies and proceduresEnsures that nursing policies and procedures are followedAssists with continuously monitoring and reviewing the staffing needs, schedules, and work assignmentsMakes rounds of each nursing unit and does a visual inspection on each unitEnsures that medications are administered, handled, stored, and audited properlyAssists the DNS with reviewing satisfaction of care and services by interviewing families and residentsAssists the DNS in developing safety standards for the nursing department and monitors these through employee incidents and develops a plan of correction and audit tool for preventionAssist the DNS with Monthly Nursing department staff meetings that are held on all three shiftsParticipates in surveys and inspections by government agencies and implements plans of correction for deficienciesBenefits:Competitive and weekly payHoliday pay for hourly and salaried employeesOvertime pay for hourly employeesCareer advancement opportunitiesExclusive employer discount programEmployer-paid life insurance401(k) with employer matchVacation and personal timeHealth, dental, and vision insuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
