Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical with Telemetry registered nurse (RN) position is located in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a medical unit within a facility that serves a diverse regional population. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least one year of relevant experience (two years preferred), and licensure to practice as a registered nurse.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience and oncology skills are preferred but not required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Patient nurse ratios of 1:5 and 1:6.
  • Equipment used includes VS machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, thermal imaging devices, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.
  • Unit handles common diagnoses such as cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and congestive heart failure (CHF).
