Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technician to enhance our esteemed team dedicated to delivering top-notch imaging services. You will work with advanced ultrasound equipment to conduct diagnostic assessments, collaborate with an inspiring team of clinicians, and provide reassurance to patients through your accurate imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during procedures, explaining each step in a clear and compassionate manner
• Work in close cooperation with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment efficiently, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within our electronic health system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current registry by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is mandatory
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

• Proven technical proficiency in performing sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
