Patient Intake Advocate

A company is looking for a Patient Intake Advocate. Key Responsibilities Manage the main phone line and address all inquiries related to medical claims Ensure timely documentation and education of member inquiries Maintain an organized inventory of claims and prioritize daily tasks accordingly Required Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma and one (1) year relevant experience Experience in a medical healthcare claims role dealing with facilities, providers, and members Background in healthcare claims management with the ability to interpret benefit plans Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage high call volumes PC literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and web-based applications
