Lean Manufacturing Specialist

*Summary*

We are seeking a results-oriented professional to lead operational improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This position focuses on improving production processes, coordinating cross-functional projects, implementing efficiency improvements, and supporting daily manufacturing operations.

*Responsibilities*

* Plan, coordinate, and oversee manufacturing and operational improvement projects from initiation through completion.
* Partner with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to execute strategic operational initiatives.
* Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced waste, and improved workflow.
* Develop project schedules, monitor milestones, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
* Assist with the implementation and optimization of manufacturing and business management systems.
* Monitor operational performance using key metrics and recommend corrective actions when needed.
* Create and maintain standardized operating procedures and process documentation.
* Facilitate continuous improvement efforts using Lean principles and structured problem-solving techniques.
* Evaluate material flow and production processes to improve throughput and inventory movement.
* Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs while improving productivity and quality.
* Participate in operational audits to ensure compliance with established procedures and best practices.
* Support leadership by investigating production challenges and developing practical solutions.

*Qualifications*

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment is required.
* Demonstrated success leading projects focused on operational excellence or process improvement.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, or similar operational excellence programs is preferred.
* Experience working with manufacturing, warehouse, or enterprise business software is beneficial.
* Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
