Construction Inspector I

The Opportunity We’re actively hiring Construction Inspectors of all levels, from entry-level to senior level, to join our Columbus office and support a variety of infrastructure projects throughout Ohio . What You’ll Do You’ll play a key role in monitoring and inspecting public infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, water and sewer systems, and utilities. This is a field-based position requiring attention to detail, communication with stakeholders, and a strong understanding of construction practices. Key Responsibilities Inspect earthwork, concrete, drainage, asphalt, structural elements, utilities, and materials on active job sites. Perform field measurements, calculations, documentation, and related technical/engineering support. Conduct or assist with material testing in the field or lab, including verification and acceptance testing. Communicate with contractors, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders as needed. Assist with project documentation and reporting. Perform other related duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring A minimum of 1 year of experience in construction inspection or construction material testing. A valid driver’s license. Basic knowledge of construction specifications and processes. Preferred, not required certifications: (all required certification and recertifications will be fully paid by PRIME) ODOT Certifications
