Job Title: Electrical Assembly & Harness Technician Role Overview The role involves supporting electrical assembly, harness fabrication, installation, routing, and integration activities. The candidate will work closely with assembly and integration teams to ensure proper cable/harness preparation, installation, and troubleshooting across prototype, test, and production hardware. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical harness fabrication, including wire preparation, crimping, and connector termination. Execute harness routing, securing, and cable management as per design requirements. Install electrical hardware and components during assembly and integration phases. Interpret and work from drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions. Support electrical/electronic hardware integration activities. Conduct continuity checks and basic electrical testing. Troubleshoot electrical installation, routing, and fit‑up issues during assembly. Utilize standard electrical assembly tools and test equipment. Assist in prototype, testing, and production hardware builds. Required Skills & Qualifications Hands‑on experience in electrical harness fabrication, installation, and routing. Proficiency in wire preparation, crimping, connector termination, and cable management. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience with electrical/electronic hardware integration. Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical installation and routing issues. Familiarity with standard electrical assembly tools and testing equipment. Experience working in assembly and integration environments.
