Radiation Therapist - Meridian, ID

An opportunity is available for a skilled Radiation Therapist to support a clinical team by delivering safe, high-quality radiation therapy to patients. This assignment involves working 36-40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no call or holiday shifts required. There is a strong possibility for extension following completion of the initial contract period.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical or hospital environment
• Proficiency in operating advanced radiation therapy equipment and imaging technology
• Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Current BLS certification

Schedule:

• 36-40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• No call, no holidays

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
• Collaborate with oncologists and dosimetrists to review and implement individualized treatment plans
• Accurately document procedures and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients on procedures, answer questions, and provide emotional support throughout treatment
• Ensure the safety of patients and staff by adhering to established protocols and maintaining equipment
• Participate in routine quality assurance checks and continuous improvement processes
