Role Description The Legal Assistant is a full-time, on-site role located in the Nashville Metropolitan Area. This role supports attorneys and tax specialists by preparing and organizing legal and tax-related documents, maintaining case files, and managing deadlines for filings and appeals. Responsibilities include drafting and formatting correspondence, assisting with property tax appeal documentation, coordinating with clients and external parties, and maintaining accurate records in case management systems. The Legal Assistant will also perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling, organizing meetings, and handling incoming communications to ensure smooth workflow within the firm. The position requires attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Knowledge of law and property tax procedures, with the ability to understand legal terminology and basic legal principles. Experience with legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing filings, correspondence, and supporting materials. Strong communication skills for interacting with attorneys, tax specialists, clients, and external agencies in a clear and professional manner. Administrative assistance capabilities, including scheduling, file management, data entry, and use of office productivity software. Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar support role within a legal, tax, or professional services environment. High level of accuracy, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools; familiarity with case or document management systems is beneficial. Associate or bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
