Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of practice experience and will engage in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial, with direct client contact. Remote/hybrid options may be available after training. Duties Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations. Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed. Prepare discovery responses and manage document production. Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports. Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary. Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants. Requirements Licensed to practice law in Tennessee or have pending Tennessee bar exam results. 2-5 years of experience, with prior insurance defense encouraged. Willingness to learn and work autonomously and within a team structure. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Initiative and the ability to multitask. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Education Juris Doctorate or better. Certifications BarSkillsTeam player with loyalty and integrity.
