Attorney

We are seeking a Tennessee-licensed Attorney for a contract legal position supporting healthcare regulatory and professional licensing matters. The attorney will handle administrative and disciplinary matters involving licensed healthcare professionals, work with investigators and subject-matter experts, negotiate resolutions, and represent the organization in hearings and trials. Key Responsibilities Represent the organization in administrative and regulatory proceedings Review complaints and investigative matters involving healthcare professionals Provide legal guidance to investigators and licensing professionals Handle litigation matters, including discovery, motions, hearings, negotiations, and trials Manage and prioritize a substantial caseload across various stages of litigation Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders Assist with legislative research and bill analysis as assigned Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and other written materials Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Litigation experience, including hearings and/or trials Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and competing priorities Excellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Administrative law or regulatory experience Healthcare law or professional licensing experience Government or public-sector legal experience Experience with disciplinary proceedings or licensing boards Legislative research or bill analysis experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
