Attorney

We are looking for an Attorney to support legal operations and provide counsel on regulatory, administrative, and litigation-related matters in Nashville, Tennessee. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex legal reviews, advise on compliance and licensing issues, and contribute to dispute resolution efforts across a range of subject areas. The position is a Long-term Contract assignment suited for a legal specialist with strong analytical judgment, strong written communication, and experience managing matters from review through resolution.Responsibilities:• Provide legal analysis and guidance on administrative, regulatory, and liability matters affecting the organization.• Examine complaints, legal documents, and case materials to identify risk, determine next steps, and support sound legal strategy.• Manage litigation-related activities, including discovery coordination, motion development, case preparation, and trial support.• Advise internal stakeholders on licensing, compliance obligations, and legal considerations connected to healthcare and employee benefit matters.• Negotiate settlements, agreements, and other legal resolutions while protecting organizational interests and maintaining regulatory alignment.• Lead or contribute to special projects requiring legal research, policy interpretation, and cross-functional coordination.• Review internal processes and supporting documentation to improve consistency, defensibility, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
