BACKGROUND TO THE ROLEThe Global Senior Brand Marketing Manager, Strategic Projects and Face is responsible for shaping the future growth agenda of Rimmel through consumer-centric product and innovation, culturally relevant product creation, and strategic portfolio leadership.This role owns the development of the brand's future product and innovation pipeline, identifying emerging consumer needs, cultural shifts, beauty trends, and commercial opportunities to create breakthrough products, regain relevance of our core and unique product experiences that strengthen brand equity and drive sustainable growth globally.This role is accountable for building a commercially robust product & innovation pipeline that delivers incremental sales, improves profitability, recruits new consumers, and strengthens Rimmel's long-term growth trajectory.Acting as the strategic link between Consumer Insights, R&D, Business Operations, Brand Communications and Key Local Markets, this role ensures every product is built from a genuine consumer need, grounded in culture, and designed for commercial success.This role combines deep expertise in beauty product & innovation, a strong understanding of global consumer behaviour, exceptional strategic thinking, commercial acumen and a passion for creating products that define the future of the category.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSpecial Projects & Strategic Growth OpportunitiesLead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic growth opportunities that extend beyond the innovation pipeline.Develop retailer-exclusive innovation concepts, core product programs, and launch strategies in partnership with key local teams and strategic retail partners.Drive the creation of cross-category collections and brand platforms that leverage synergies across key cultural partnerships.Identify commercial whitespace opportunities to unlock incremental revenue streams, recruit new consumers, and strengthen brand relevance.Lead special innovation projects, strategic collaborations, partnerships, and limited-edition launches that accelerate brand growth and cultural impact.Develop business cases and commercial recommendations for emerging opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and financial objectives.Partner with Consumer Insights, Business Operations, Key Local Markets to assess market potential, consumer demand, and scalability of new opportunities.Explore disruptive business models, new channels, and occasion-based opportunities to unlock future growth.Champion an entrepreneurial approach to core product & innovation by identifying fast-to-market opportunities that can deliver incremental sales and brand buzz.Present opportunity assessments, recommendations, and progress updates to senior frameworks, claims strategies and proposition territories.Ensure product plans balance creativity, desirability and commercial viability.Lead End-to-End Product CreationLead core renovation & innovation projects from insight through to launch.Partner with R&D, Packaging, CMI and Brand Communications teams to deliver superior product experiences.Lead product design, naming, claims, shade architecture, pack expression and overall consumer experience.Drive decision making throughout development, ensuring products remain highly differentiated, consumer relevant and financially viable.Manage project timelines, budgets and cross-functional delivery.Champion Consumer UnderstandingServe as the consumer voice within the business.Leverage research, social listening, market analysis and trend forecasting to uncover insights.Understand evolving Gen Z and Millennial consumer behaviours, motivations, usage and purchase drivers.Translate insights into product & innovation strategies and brand growth opportunities.Build deep understanding of consumer journeys and emerging beauty needs globally.Commercial & Financial LeadershipAccountable for delivering a commercially robust product & innovation pipeline that drives incrementality, improves C1 contribution, and supports long-term brand growth.Build compelling business cases and growth plans, balancing consumer desirability with financial return.Drive segment portfolio decisions that maximise profitability, premiumisation, and category expansion opportunities.Partner with business operations to ensure successful launch execution and optimisation of innovation performance.Monitor product and innovation KPIs and continuously improve pipeline productivity, ROI, and value creation.Influence Across the OrganisationAct as the central connector across CMI, IM, R&D, Business Operations, Brand Commnuications and Markets for segment and product development.Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product and innovation excellence.Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decision making at senior levels.Present segment growth strategies and product + innovation recommendations to leadership teams.Mentor, coach, develop and inspire junior team members across the team.WHAT YOU WILL BRING Required Competencies: Significant experience within Global Brand Management, Innovation, Product Marketing and Product Development.Experience leading successful global product launches.Strong understanding of consumer-led innovation and portfolio management.Proven ability to translate insights
