AP Coordinator

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Jessup, MD. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support the day-to-day AP function and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.Responsibilities:* Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently* Perform full-cycle accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor maintenance* Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close activities* Prepare and post journal entries as needed* Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries* Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely approvals and payment processing* Support process improvement initiatives and other accounting projects as assignedRequirements* Minimum 5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience* Experience using NetSuite ERP* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities* Excellent attention to detail* Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentJob TypeContractCompensation25 - $29
