AP Coordinator

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Jessup, MD. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support the day-to-day AP function and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.Responsibilities:

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform full-cycle accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor maintenance
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely approvals and payment processing
• Support process improvement initiatives and other accounting projects as assigned

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Experience using NetSuite ERP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
