A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in rural Northern Wisconsin at a 75-bed hospital facility. This role offers an engaging environment managing a busy inpatient pharmacy and serving diverse clinical areas including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, and the Emergency Department. The contract position is set for 13 weeks or more, starting as soon as possible, providing a chance to gain valuable experience in a rural healthcare setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts
• Weekend rotations consist of 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify EPIC medication orders and oversee technician tasks in a central inpatient pharmacy
• Respond to pharmacist inquiries and phone calls efficiently
• Dispense inpatient and outpatient IV medications, unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Manage medication needs for an inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients across multiple departments

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic health records
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment
• Experience with chemotherapy preparation and administration is a plus
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
