Job Description

This role supports high-volume manufacturing by assembling, processing, sealing, and finishing spiral‑wound elements in a fast‑paced, automated production environment. You operate rolling tables, conveyor ovens, caging and sealing equipment, and finishing tools while ensuring every product meets strict safety, quality, and productivity standards. You accurately document production data, follow detailed work instructions, and contribute to a clean, organized, and safety-focused workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operate rolling tables, conveyor ovens, and related equipment to assemble spiral‑wound elements according to production specifications.
• Load and unload materials and components safely and efficiently to support continuous production flow.
• Apply adhesive glue lines and verify proper placement, coverage, and consistency in line with manufacturing standards.
• Inspect incoming and in‑process materials for damage, defects, or nonconformances and take appropriate action.
• Record production data, inspection results, and process checks accurately in production and quality logs.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and 5S practices to maintain an organized and hazard‑free work area.
• Meet or exceed daily production, quality, and efficiency targets while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Operate caging and sealing equipment to apply required components to spiral‑wound elements.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 6 months of previous experience in production, general warehouse, retail, or construction with stable work history and demonstrated job tenure.
• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a highly automated production environment.
• Background in construction, inspection, or similar hands‑on roles that require measurement and tool use.
• Comfort using a variety of hand tools, including cutters, trimmers, and other finishing tools.

Work Environment

The facility specializes in membrane separation and water filtration products, as well as solutions for related industries. Daily work involves standing for long periods, lifting materials up to 50 pounds, pushing carts or equipment, and performing repetitive tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA.

The pay range for this position is $23.15 - $23.15/hr.
