LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 - 19:00

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing high-quality care to patients using the Nursing Process, in compliance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and effective leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care. The Registered Nurse maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education, delegates patient care priorities according to available staff capabilities, and supervises the delivery of patient care by assigned personnel.

• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver exceptional patient care in an LTAC/Telemetry setting.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Provide critical care management, including vent/trach support and central line management.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in the delivery of patient care.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current clinical practices and emerging healthcare trends.

• Active CO or multi-state compact RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association).
• Experience with vent/trach patients and knowledge of central lines.
• Preferred wound care experience.
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:6.
