Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens, including blood, urine, tissue, and other bodily fluids.
• Receive, label, and prepare samples for testing, ensuring proper handling and adherence to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment, performing routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Analyze test results, identify abnormalities, and interpret findings accurately, communicating critical information to healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide comprehensive patient care and support interdisciplinary discussions.
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols while handling specimens and hazardous materials.
• Document and record test results, procedures, and relevant information accurately in laboratory information systems and medical records.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field

Experience:

• Minimum two-years of experience in a clinical or acute laboratory setting

License:

• ASCP or AMT Certification
• BLS Certification
