Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and rotating Saturdays Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must be from an accredited agency if no prior experience Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
